- Place the slices in a mixing bowl and drizzle the coconut oil or fish oil over them. Toss gently until all pieces are lightly coated. This adds flavor and helps with chewiness.

- Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone mat. Lay the sweet potato slices flat in a single layer without overlapping. Bake for 2.5 to 3 hours, flipping halfway through, until they are dry but still chewy (not crispy).

- Remove the treats from the oven and let them cool completely. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for longer storage.
