  • 4 large lettuce leaves romaine or iceberg work well
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup sliced pickles
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or butter for cooking hot dogs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

Step 1:
  1. Rinse and pat dry the lettuce leaves carefully so they don’t tear. Set aside. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the hot dogs and cook, turning occasionally, until browned and heated through, about 7-10 minutes.
