Ingredients

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt ensure it’s free of artificial sweeteners or xylitol
  • ¼ cup natural peanut butter unsalted and without added sugar
  • 1 ripe banana
  • ¼ cup unsweetened coconut milk or water

Equipment

  • Blender or food processor
  • Mixing bowl
  • Spoon or spatula
  • Ice cube tray or silicone molds
  • Freezer-safe container or mold lid

Method

  1. Peel the ripe banana and cut it into chunks to make blending easier. In a blender or food processor, combine the Greek yogurt, natural peanut butter, banana chunks, and coconut milk (or water). Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy.
  2. Pour the blended mixture evenly into an ice cube tray or silicone molds. Tap gently to remove air bubbles. Place the tray or molds in the freezer and let it freeze for at least 2 to 3 hours until solid.
  3. Pop out the frozen treats and serve as a refreshing snack for your dog on a warm day.

Notes

Avoid using any ingredients harmful to dogs like chocolate, artificial sweeteners (especially xylitol), grapes, or raisins. Always consult your vet if your dog has allergies or health conditions before trying new treats.
