Step 1:
- Lightly grease the crockpot with coconut oil or line it with a crockpot liner to prevent sticking and ease cleanup.
Step 2:
- Place the ground turkey or chicken at the bottom. Then add brown rice, carrots, green beans, peas, apple, and pumpkin purée. Pour in 4 cups of water over everything.
Step 3:
- Cover the crockpot and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 2–3 hours. Stir once or twice if convenient, but it’s not necessary.
Step 4:
- Once fully cooked, let the mixture cool completely. Use a spoon or fork to break up the meat and mix well. Portion into meal-sized containers and store in the refrigerator (up to 5 days) or freezer (up to 3 months).
